Why these proposal details matter

Two quotes with the same tonnage can cover very different jobs. Exact indoor and outdoor model numbers, a home-specific load calculation, electrical and duct or line-set scope, permits, startup checks, and separate labor and equipment warranties make the proposals easier to compare without pretending the lowest total is automatically best.

Final residential sizing should use a home-specific load calculation. See ACCA Manual J, verify matched equipment in the AHRI Directory, and confirm permits, incentives, and installation requirements with the applicable local and program authorities.
