Privacy policy

What we collect

The sizing calculator runs in your browser. We do not collect your contact information unless you choose to submit the optional installer quote form.

The quote-readiness checker also runs entirely in your browser. Proposal text pasted there is not uploaded, stored, sent to an AI provider, or included in analytics. Splitsizer does not intentionally persist it; your browser may temporarily restore form text through its own history or session features.

The installer quote form collects only the contact and project details you submit, such as name, email, phone, ZIP code, homeowner status, project scope, current heating, and project timeline. It also attaches the calculator result so installers can understand the size range you saw.

Qualified quote requests may be stored in Airtable and emailed to Splitsizer for manual review. If a matching path is available in your area, Splitsizer may share the submitted contact and project details with one installer so that installer can respond to the request. Quote requests are not automatically distributed.

Analytics

We use Vercel Web Analytics and Vercel Speed Insights to measure aggregate page performance, traffic patterns, and coarse actions such as completing the calculator, opening the installer-request form, or clicking an Amazon link. Analytics events do not include contact details, ZIP codes, exact square footage, full URLs, or free-form text. Vercel Web Analytics does not use tracking cookies.

Cookies

Splitsizer itself does not set tracking cookies. Outbound links to Amazon may include affiliate tags, and Amazon will set its own cookies if you click through.

Security and abuse prevention

Requests pass through Vercel's hosting and firewall systems. Vercel may process network information such as IP address, request path, method, timing, and frequency to operate the service, detect abuse, and protect the site. Splitsizer currently uses an IP-based rate limit only on installer-form submissions to stop unusually high request rates. IP addresses from that rule are not added to Airtable or Resend by Splitsizer. Vercel controls its platform logs and retention under its privacy notice.

Your data, your rights

To request deletion of any contact-form or quote-request data you have submitted, email hello@splitsizer.com from the address you submitted. We'll remove your record within 7 days.
